Reclaim Peace After Trauma
You Don’t Have to Carry This Alone
Trauma and grief change the way we see ourselves, others, and the world. You might be feeling stuck in the past, easily overwhelmed, numb, anxious, or just... unlike yourself. Maybe you’ve been through something big—an accident, assault, a betrayal, a profound loss. Or maybe it’s been a series of painful experiences that slowly wore you down.
Whatever your story, your pain is valid. And healing is possible.
Trauma Therapy: A Safe Place to Begin Again
Trauma shows up in different ways. Sometimes it’s panic attacks or nightmares. Other times it’s irritability, disconnection, people-pleasing, or difficulty trusting others. You might feel like your nervous system is constantly on edge—or like you’ve gone completely numb just to survive.
In trauma therapy, we’ll work at a pace that feels safe. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and tailored to you. I draw from methods like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), mindfulness, and somatic strategies to gently help your body and mind process what’s happened, release stuck emotions, and build a greater sense of safety and connection.
Grief Counseling: Healing After Loss
Grief doesn’t have a timeline. It can resurface months—or even years—after a loss. And loss comes in many forms:
The death of a loved one
Miscarriage or fertility challenges
Loss of a pet
Divorce or breakup
Estrangement from family
Career or retirement transitions
Loss of safety, identity, or dreams
In our sessions, I’ll hold space for your pain without judgment or pressure to “move on.” Whether your grief is fresh or longstanding, you deserve a space where your feelings can be seen, honored, and supported. Together, we’ll navigate the waves of sorrow, anger, guilt, confusion—whatever’s coming up—and gently move toward healing.
Therapy Can Help You:
Make sense of your trauma story
Reconnect with your body and emotions
Improve sleep and reduce anxiety
Build resilience and self-compassion
Release shame, self-blame, and fear
Reclaim your sense of self, purpose, and peace
You’re Not Broken. You’re Grieving, Healing, and Growing.
Whether you’re navigating trauma, loss, or both—you don’t have to do it alone. Therapy offers a space for you to be fully seen, supported, and safe as you heal.
FAQs About Trauma & Grief Counseling
Do I need to talk about everything that happened to heal from trauma?
No. Trauma therapy doesn’t require you to share every detail. My approach is gentle and attuned to your needs — we focus on helping your nervous system feel safer, not reliving pain.
What kinds of losses do you support?
I support all forms of grief — from the death of a loved one, to breakups, estrangement, pet loss, career shifts, and the loss of identity or dreams. Every form of grief is valid and welcome here.
Is EMDR therapy effective for grief?
Yes. EMDR can be a powerful tool for processing unresolved grief, especially when loss feels complicated or hard to move through. It helps your brain and body integrate the pain so you’re not stuck in it.
Is your practice affirming of LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients?
Absolutely. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space for clients of all identities and neurotypes. You deserve care that understands and honors all parts of you.
What if I’m not sure whether what I’ve been through “counts” as trauma?
If something still hurts, feels unresolved, or keeps resurfacing — it matters. You don’t need a specific label to deserve healing support.
